Art is tightly related to the spiritual character of a nation.
The progress of art is not similar to the intellectual maturity of the nation. History proves that in fact, we owe only to a very unnoticed group of the chosen for all our achievements. Different elements, that form the visible components of civilisation, can be considered the expression of the soul of the people who created them.
