One of our major long-term goals is the promotion of Armenian Design in its unity on the international level. Therefore, we have launched the realization of "Armenian Design Portal/Designer.am" web project, which will stimulate local networking among Armenian designers and design companies of different fields and will gradually integrate them into the global design environment. "Armenian Design Portal/Designer.am" web project is exclusive since it will be a web site, which will simultaneously include a large-scale gallery, updated database of Armenian designers and design companies, a periodical on local and international design-related news and educating materials, on-line workshop for discussion of design problems. The web site will have Armenian and English versions to link both local and international I-net users interested in design.
